A fire broke out at Road 16 of Dhaka’s Gulshan 1 area around 6:08 pm on Friday.
Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters’ duty officer Ershadullah confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
He said cables from dish line and electric line were tangled together and the fire originated from a spark from the electric line.
Upon receiving the news, two units of the fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire within 10 minutes, he added.
No casualties were reported, he further said.
