Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has provided a fixed price chart to control the retail costs of essential commodities during the holy month of Ramadan.

The kitchen market, hotel and restaurant traders agreed to follow the price chart during Ramadan, which begins on Friday.
“DNCC will conduct drives to monitor the price through mobile courts during the month,” said Mesbahul.
The price of red meat will be set as per the fixed rate jointly agreed by red meat traders and the authority concerned of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
DSCC on Tuesday set per kilogram price of indigenous cattle beef at Tk475, foreign cattle beef at Tk440 and buffalo meat at Tk440, while per kilogram mutton (goat) was fixed at Tk725 and mutton (sheep) at Tk620.
