A case has been filed against a woman whose two children were found dead in a house in Dhaka's Goran area.
Biplob, father of the two children, filed the case against his wife Akterunnesa Popy with Khilgaon police station for killing his two daughters, confirmed Mashiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the police station.
Popy is currently being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)with burn injuries from a suspected suicide attempt, reports UNB.
Earlier on March 7, police recovered the throat-slit bodies of Jannat and Alfi from a house in Dhaka's Goran area.
Police also rescued Popy with burn injuries and admitted her to DMCH.
