A policeman has been killed after he fell off the fifth floor of the police control room in Dhaka's Shahbagh area.
The deceased is Sudhangsu Kumar Bishwas, 24, who worked as a constable in the police control room.
The incident occurred on Friday morning.
Shahbagh police station Inspector (investigation) Arifur Rahman Sarker said: "Sudhangsu fell off from the fifth floor of the six storied building.
"He was then rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctors declared him dead."
Sudhangsu's family has filed an unnatural death case over the incident.
We are investigating to know how the incident happened, the inspector added.
