Vincent Dip Baroi, a 27-year-old singer and recitation artiste has been diagnosed with Wilson's Disease, a rare genetic disorder characterized by excess copper stored in various body tissues.
His condition is continuously getting worse.
Experts have advised taking immediate action to save his life.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he needs an operation as one-third of his liver is damaged but to do this at least Tk50 lakh is needed.
John Ashok Baroi, Dip's father said: "We sold off everything that we had for our son's treatment.
"We cannot anymore bear the medical expenses thus are being forced to stop Dip's diagnosis."
Dip's family is unable to bear this huge cost alone, they are struggling to manage the money alone and as a result, the Dip has become hopeless and counting his days to death in hospital bed.
