Rajuk demolishes illegal establishments in Mirpur

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) has demolished illegal sections of several residential buildings since their owners had built additional floors and other structures beyond the Rajuk approved designs. The mobile court of Rajuk Executive Magistrate Oliur Rahman, with Authorised Officer Md Mobarak Hossain, led a drive at Mirpur in the capital on Tuesday. The drive was conducted in an eight-storey building at 9/5 Tularbagh in Mirpur, in which the unapproved 9th and 10th floors were demolished. The Rajuk mobile court also demolished illegal ramps on public roads and fined the owners of unauthorised businesses in the residential area.
