Senior Secretary to the Bridges Division Khandker Anwarul Islam will be appointed as the new cabinet secretary, said Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal.
“Anwarul Islam will replace Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shaiful Alam,” revealed the finance minister after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase held at the Cabinet Division on Wednesday.
Kamal also informed that the current Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam will be appointed as the alternative executive director to the World Bank for Bangladesh.
He said: “Shaiful Alam will be appointed as the alternative executive director of the World Bank after his tenure ends.”
