The National Zoo in Dhaka has added eight new animals for visitors to see.
They added four Royal Bengal tigers, two Cheetahs, and two Impalas.
Among the tigers, two are male and two are female. There is one male and one female Cheetah, while both the Impalas are female.
According to zoo officials, all the animals are sexually mature. All eight animals are between 2 to 3 years old and were bred in captivity, which is a huge business in South African countries.

The pair of Impala arrived on July 7. While the first pair of tigers arrived on July 10, the other pair of tigers and a pair of Cheetahs arrived at the zoo on July 31.
Visitors could view the animals a week after their arrival and being under observation.
Two different contractors imported these animals for the National Zoo. The Impalas were imported by Looptex Limited while the rest were imported by Falcon Traders.
But zoo authorities have done no medical test for the animals.

Dr Nazmul Hoda, Veterinary Surgeon, at the National Zoo said: “Contractors are accountable for the health condition of imported animals.”
“If anything wrong is seen within 21 days, importers have to take all responsibility according to the contract. But we have observed the animals and they look good,” he said.
Meanwhile four new animals were also born in the zoo. From August 17 to August 22, a calf each, of a giraffe, zebra, horse, and hippopotamus, were born in the zoo.
Visitors who are now allowed to see the newly brought animals at the zoo, are very enthusiastic.
Meghna, a ten-year-old child came to the zoo with her parents and said: “I am so happy to see such big tigers. I have never seen tigers in real life except for television.”
Zoo authorities are doing their best to make the newly arrived animals comfortable in their new home and surroundings. They are expecting more visitors now.
