Dhaka University (DU) authorities have suspended 69 students for cheating in the university admission tests.
The decision was taken at the disciplinary council meeting, chaired by Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof M Akhtaruzzaman, a press release issued by the university said.
These 69 students were admitted to the university in the academic sessions 2012-13 to 2017-18, the press release added.
According the statement, the students will be given show cause notices, which they will have to respond to within seven days.
