Farzana Chowdhury, managing director and chief executive officer of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, has taken on the responsibility of changing the lives of four JAAGO students: Iftekhar, Riya, Borsha and Shojoni.
The four attend different branches of JAAGO School; obtaining an education has been a dream for them. Now Farzana Chowdhury has made it possible for them to follow their dreams, without the fear of poverty.
With her leadership, Farzana has been relentlessly working to bring forth a positive change in the insurance industry, but that is not all she does. She wants to uplift the society by helping others who are underprivileged.
Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd also provides for the educational expenses of a JAAGO classroom. The classroom accommodates 40 students—all from marginalized communities—and allows them to dream big.
Thousands of children like Iftekhar, Riya, Borsha, and Shojoni are waiting for support. One can break the cycle of poverty by educating a JAAGO student, for a donation of just Tk2,000.
