Two fires have been reported near the Demra Fire Service and Civil Defence office plus the Gawsia market in Dhaka. The fires were immediately doused.
According to the Fire Service control room, the fire originated from a gas-pipe line in Demra around 11:55pm on Sunday.
Firefighters extinguished the flames within an hour.

Meanwhile, the fire at Gawsia market originated from a food court on the second floor of the building around 12:15am on Monday.
The locals doused the blaze before the fire service could reach the spot.
The Fire Service control room's duty officer Ershad Hossain said: "The Gawsia fire was put out even before our unit arrived."
