A compilation of poems on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is to be unveiled at Bangla Academy’s Abdul Karim auditorium on Wednesday.
Parliamentary Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhaury will unveil the book at the ceremony, reports BSS.
Law Minister Anisul Huq will attend the function as chief guest, with Professor Panna Kaiser in chair.
“The publication ceremony will be held in celebration Sheikh Hasina’s 71st birth anniversary,” said Anis Mohammad, member secretary of the book publication ceremony committee.
The book, titled “Peace and Harmony,” is a compilation of 71 selected poems on Sheikh Hasina, written by prominent poets.
Anis Mohammad translated the poems into English, while Dhanshiri Publications was the publisher.
