College student dies falling from human hauler in city

A college student was killed after she fell from a human hauler at Shanir Akhra Bus Stand area in the capital's Kadamtali area on Monday. The deceased was identified as Nusrat Jahan Jhuma, a first year student of Eden College and daughter of Abul Hossain of Muradnagar upazila in Cumilla. The accident took place when Jhuma fell from the human hauler and sustained injuries to her head while the hauler was crossing a speed breaker on the road, said Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp. Later, she was taken to DMCH where doctors declared her dead about an hour later.
