To commemorate International Women’s Day, Meena Bazar recently organized separate programs to celebrate female children and elderly women in Dhaka.
With the aim of ensuring a better future for female students, learning materials were distributed to 20 students of a primary school that was established near the Mohammadpur Bus Stand in 2009.

CourtesyIn addition, an event with specially prepared food was organized at an old home in Uttarkhan. The old home, which has more than 50 residents, was established in 2010.
“This is not the end of such initiatives by Meena Bazar on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Meena Bazar vows to stand by the side of the underprivileged women of today and tomorrow, to lend a helping hand in their times of need,” a statement from Meena Bazar reads.
