Focus BanglaPrime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the home of late Mayor Annisul Huq to pay her last respects.
She went to his Banani home at 1:40pm after the body arrived there.
When the prime minister reached there, a heart-rending scene was created, adding the family members of the deceased including his wife, son and daughters broke into tears at the time.
Sheikh Hasina joined a munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed soul. She then talked to Annisul Huq's family members exclusively and consoled them.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, brother of the deceased Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq and senior leaders of Bangladesh Awami League were accompanied the premier.
