One more person, injured in the Ashulia bank robbery, died around 9pm on Friday night after three days at Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar.
The deceased, Ayub Ali, was a former member of BDR.
Family said he had a small business at Kathgara area in Ashulia.
On hearing about the bank robbery, Ayub Ali immediately rushed to the spot to resist the robbers, who consequently stabbed him in the chest and shot in the stomach.
Later locals rescued him and took him to Enam Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
Officer in-Charge of Ashulia police station, Mustafa Kamal, said preparation was underway to send the deceased's body to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
With this the death toll in the incident of robbery at Bangladesh Commerce Bank Kathgara branch in Ashulia on Tuesday climbed to nine.
