BNP leader found dead in Rajshahi

Shariful Islam, senior officer of Rajshahi Fire Service Station, said Moinul was living in a house nearby him in Hoshniganj in the city. On information that Moinul was shot, he went to the spot and rescued him. Later, a team of firefighters took him to Rajshahi Medical College where on duty doctors declared him dead. Dr Ariful of the hospital, said Moinul died before he was sent to the hospital. Some relatives of Moinul said he was a contractor in the city and he had a lot of debt. He might have shot himself, they opined. Shahadat Hossain, officer-in-charge of Boalia police station, said nothing could be said before autopsy reports. A revolver was recovered from the spot.
