The Border Guard Battalion (BGB) personnel have seized 800 bottles of phensedyl from Rangiarpota village under Chuadanga sadar upazila.
Chuadanga 6 BGB Director SM Moniruzzaman said they conducted a raid in the village on a secret information around 2am on Saturday.
He said the seized phensedyl was worth Tk7.20 lakh.
The BGB official said smugglers put the phensedyl bottles in a bamboo bush aiming to smuggle those to Dhaka or others districts.
