10 AL men injured in crude bombs blasts

At least 10 Awami League activists have been injured in crude bombs blasts in front of Shikka Bhaban in the capital.

Miscreants blasted two to three crude bombs in a Awami League procession which was marching towards Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital from Rampura  at 4:20pm on Saturday.

Nine injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said Muzammel Haq, in-charge of the hospital.

The injured are Md Naz, 43, Abu Taher, 55, Likhon, 18, Alfaz Uddin, 55, Abdul Quddos, 40, Salm HOssain Taz, 55, Obaidul, 22, Moinul, 40, Advocate Shah Alam, 45, Alkach Ali, 52, Sharmin, Tapan, Salam.

Three more people were admitted to DMCH being injured by mob beating in this connection. They are Hasan, Adar Ali and Nazmul.

A rickshaw puller Papan was also injured in another crude bomb blast in Azimpur graveyard area in the capital. He was also admitted to the DMCH hospital, said Muzammel.
