A team of Rapid Action Battalion has seized two firearms and contraband drugs from Kasba area in Paba upazila of Rajshahi.
Company Commander Mirza Golam Sarwar of Railway colony camp said RAB 5 members seized the firearms and drugs while acting on a tip-off early Thursday.
The seized firearms and drugs include a one-shooter gun, a foreign revolver, 700 grams of heroin, 810 bottles of phensidyl, and 10 bottles of foreign wine.
However, none could be arrested in this connection as the assailants fled the spot, sensing the presence of RAB members, said the RAB official.
