Tk50 lakh heroin seized in Rajshahi

The recovery was made during a regular border patrol on early Saturday at Kodalkathi Ambagan area, only 300 yards from the border, BGB spokesman Mohsin Reza said. Drug peddlers fled the scene leaving behind the heroin when a BGB patrol, led by Nayek Subedar Md Shafiz Uddin, reached the area. Mohsin told the Dhaka Tribune that none of the peddlers could be arrested or identified. A case has been filed with Chapainawabganj police over the seized heroin.
