The detainees are Nurul Amin, 30, Md Osman, 31 and Shahidul Islam Shahin, 30, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Nasir Uddin of Satkanai police station.
Following a tip-off, a team of police conducted the drive at Bardona of Sonakani union in Satkania at around 5am on Wednesday, and arrested Jamaat members Nurul Amin and Osman, along with recovering three petrol bombs, while the activists were preparing to carry out an attack, said the SI.

During the primary interrogation, the Jamaat activists admitted their involvement in subversive activities in the ongoing blockade and political programme, SI Nasir said, adding that a case had been filed in this connection.
