1 injured in Chittagong crude bomb blast

A man has been injured as pro-hatral activists blasted a crude bomb at New Market area under Kotwali police station in Chittagong city on Saturday night.

The injured, Abdur Kader, is a worker of a private company Tech Valley, son of  Gazi Asraful Islam, a resident of Hamjarbagh area in the city, said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pankaj Barua of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost.

Pankaj said Abdur sustained splinter injuries when miscreants blasted a crude bomb in the area at around 8:15pm while he was walking on the road.

Locals rushed him to CMCH, said the ASI.
