A Dhaka court has granted five-day remand to each of four members of militant group Islamic State including its Bangladesh coordinator.
The court also denied the bail petition filed by the defence lawyer.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Mustafizur Rahman passed the order on Monday.
Earlier, Detective Branch (DB) Inspector Md Zafar Ali Biswas produced them before the court seeking 10-day remand plea.
Police on Monday arrested four members of militant group Islamic State including its Bangladesh coordinator from Jatrabari and Khilkhet areas in Dhaka.
The arrestees are Shakhawatul Kabir, the regional commander in Bangladesh, Md Anwar Hossain, Md Rabiul Islam, and Md Nazrul Alam.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of DMP, said the arrestees have confessed that they are members of Islamic State.
A case was filed under Anti Terrorism Act against the four, he added.
Police also seized laptops and jihadi leaflets from their possessions.
