Police have arrested two abductors, two hours after abducting a business man, from Gorasin area under Tangail Sadar upazila.
The arrestees are Tipu, 28, son of late Nurul Talukder, and Adil, 38, son of Abul Hossain Talukder in Karotia Talukder Para of Tangail.
Murad Hossain, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Basail police station, said: “Being informed, police arrested Tipu and Adil from an abandoned shop in Gorasin area and rescued businessman Tarek around 1:30pm on Monday.”
Tarek was abducted from Basail Gobinda Govt High School area while he was going to his village around 11am, he said.
A case was logged with Basail police station in this connection.
