A Dhaka court has sent five officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines to jail denying their bail petitions.
The arrestees gave the confessional statement before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court on Sunday.
After taking the statement, Md Anwar Sadat, the Metropolitan Magistrate has ordered to send them to jail.
The officials were arrested for their alleged involvement in gold smuggling.
The lawyers of the defendants pleaded for their bails.
