The beheaded body of a local Jubo League leader has been recovered from the shore of Atherbeki river in Terokhada upazila in Khilna.
The deceased is Mirajul Fakir, 26, assistant secretary of Barasat union ward no 2, said upazila JL General secretary Md Mizanur Rahman.
Terokhada police station Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Islam said: “Being informed, the police recovered his beheaded body on Thursday morning.”
“He might have been killed over previous enmity. But nothing cane be said before the primary investigation is completed.”
