A mobile court held five persons including two women for drug peddling from Jessore’s Chachra area yesterday. The arrested are Rosy Ahmed, Panna Khatun, Monirul, Shohag and Kamal.
Rosy and Panna were fined with Tk10,000 and Tk5000 respectively while the rest were sentenced with seven days of imprisonment.
The RAB men recovered 129 bottles of phensidyl from Tetultola area in the same drive, said Major Asharf Uddin of RAB 6.
