Detective Branch (DB) of Police in Mymensingh has arrested a youth with three pistols and 11 rounds of bullets from Maleker Bari area of Gazipur.
The arrestee is Roni Nabal, 25, son of Probhash Raksam, of Sherpur.
Sub-Inspector Moloy Chakrabarti of Mymensingh DB said: "Acting on a tip off, we raided the residence of one Nurul Islam in Maleker Bari area around 8:30pm on Thursday and arrested Roni with the arms and bullets."
He said Roni rented a room at the residence a few months ago. "He had been conducting terrorist activities from the house."
Roni is accused in two arms and robbery cases under Kotwali police station of Mymensingh and another case under Haluaghat police station.
