A Dhaka Tribune journalist has fallen victim of mugging in the capital's Motijheel area Monday night.
Morshed Jahan Mithun, a sub-editor of the newspaper, said four men carrying arms obstructed him on his way home around 10:30pm in front of City Centre in Motijheel.
At gun-point, they took away his mobile phone and the money he was carrying.
Mithun said the four would be in 18-20 years of age.
Immediately after the incident, he contacted the patrol police.
Mithun was preparing to go for filing a formal complaint with the nearby police station till filing the report.
