Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained 11 Bangladeshis from Kulia border area under Debhata upazila in Satkhira.
All the detainees hailed from Satkhira.
BGB 34 Nildumur Camp Commander Lieutenant Colonel Shamsul Kabir said: “A patrolling team of BGB detained them while they were returning from India early Thursday.”
He said: “The detainees went to India by crossing the border illegally few days ago. They have been sent to Debhata police station in the morning.”
A case has been filed in this connection under Passport Act.
