A youth was imprisoned for two months for harassing a schoolgirl in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi.
According to sources, Mithu Mian, son of Ratan Mian harassed the girl sexually in the upazila park while she was visiting the area. He also recorded the off scene and tried to release it.
On a tip-off, police arrested him on Thursday and handed over to Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Ashraful Alam.
The youth was handed down two months of imprisonment on the spot.
