A Dhaka court has granted a six-day remand for four and three-day remand for two for allegedly being involved in the triple murder case in the capital’s Moghbazar area.

Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rezaul Karim passed the order on Sunday afternoon when Ramna police station Sub-Inspector and also Investigating Officer Mizanur Rahman produced them before the court with a ten-day remand plea for the murder case and a ten-day remand plea for illegal arms possession.

The magistrate passed the remand order rejecting the bail plea filed by the defence counsel.

The court gave a six-day remand in both cases for Md Saifullah alias Siam, Md Ramzan Ali, Md Rubel Mia alias Sany and Md Maruf Hossain.

It also granted a three-day remand for Al-Amin and Md Shafin Laskar for illegal arms possession.

Earlier on Saturday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested them from different drives in Motijheel and Munshiganj.

On August 28, armed assailants shot three people, including a woman, dead at their residence in the capital’s Moghbazar.
