Police, in a raid, have recovered 19 petrol bombs, three hand bombs and gun powers from Abdur Rab Hall of Chittagong University.
The law enforcers conducted the drive at the hall at 3:45pm and recovered the 19 petrol bombs, three hand bombs, one locally made weapon Ramda and some gunpowder, Abdur Rab Hall house tutor Md Osman Mehedi told the Dhaka Tribune.
The raid ended at 4:45pm, he said, adding no one was arrested during the drive.
Meanwhile, police have launched another drive at Alaol Hall of the university, said Hall Provost Professor Sheikh Zahir Ahmed.
He said the raid began at 5pm and was underway till filing of this report at 5:30pm.
No arm was recovered and no one was arrested till the time, he added.
