The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has detained a Bangladeshi youth along with phensedyl bottles from near Paria border area under Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgoan.
The detainee, Md Mannan, 24, is the son of Islam Uddin, of Choshapara area under the upazila.
30-BGB Thakurgoan battalion acting commander Major Touhid said: “Mannan was picked up from Indian territory by 121-BSF Chaklagch camp members around 1:30pm on Thursday.”
“Later, he was handed over to the Indian police.”
Major Touhis further said the BGB has sent a letter to the BSF in this connection.
