Miscreants have gunned down a top leader of Swechchasebok League of the Jessore unit on Saturday.
The deceased is Abdul Mannan, 47. He was the president of Jessore town unit of Swecchasebok League.
BSS reported according to police sources.
Mannan was shot from close proximity in his own office located at Bejpara Piyari Mohon road in the city.
Locals rushed him to Jessore Sadar Hospital in critical condition where attending doctor declared him dead.
