The officials of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have seized a total of 3,560 bottles of Phensidyl along with some smuggled imitation ornaments at Putkhali frontier in Jessore early Thursday.
BGB 23 Subedar Shafiuddin said: “Acting on a tip off, BGB officials raided the frontier area and seized the Phensidyl bottles and imitation ornaments.
But we could not arrest anyone as the smugglers fled the scene sensing the presence of BGB members,” he added.
