2 schoolgirls raped in Bandarban, man arrested

Two schoolgirls have been reportedly raped in Bandarban districts. Police detained one Aung Thui Pru alias Yain Se Marma, son of late Ching Sheu Marma in the incident. Quoting locals OC Rafique Ullah said the detainee had raped a second grader and a fourth grader of Uzani para government primary school. He raped the girl intimidating them in the school room, according to the allegation. One of the victims got sick after the incident. Coming to know of the incident, the family informed it to a local human rights worker Donai Pru Nelly. Later the alleged rapist was detained following the complaint. The police were preparing to file a case in this regard, according to the OC.
