A youth has been stabbed to death by miscreants in Toktarpole area of Bakalia in the port city on early Thursday.
Deceased Alauddin, 18, worked at Silver Palace Community Centre in the city.
Bakalia police station Officer-in-Charge Md Mohsin said miscreants might have stabbed Alauddin in one point of altercation in Toktarpole area around 4am, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he died around 8am, said the OC.
Police also detained one Saleh Ahmed suspecting his involvement in the murder.
