Police yesterday arrested a headmaster over the killing of a school boy in Fatullah early yesterday.
Faruk Mondol, 45, of Masdair Adarsha School, was arrested at a residence of Shashangaon of Fatullah under sadar upazila.
The headmaster is one of the accused in the murder of Arafat Rahman Siam, 10, whose body was recovered from a sack from Shanti Nagar of Munshiganj on November 24 last year. The victim was a grade IV student of the school.
On December 16, police arrested the wife of Faruk Mondol in connection of the murder case. So far, four of the accused in the murder case have been arrested.
Inspector (investigation) of Fatullah police station Saiful Islam said another prime accused of the Siam murder case, Mehedi Mondol, was still on the run.
