At least 20 people got injured in a clash between two groups over playing football at Ispahani Bihari Camp in the district on Wednesday.
According to local sources, the people of 2 and 3 No camp in Alamnagar area got locked in an altercation over the playing football on Monday. Later, the people from the both sides attacked each other which continued to yesterday evening leaving 20 people injured. Several houses, shops and vehicles were vandalised during the incident.
On information, police went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
They also arrested 15 people from the spot.
Superintendent of Police Ataur Rahman confirmed the incident.
