The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has again summoned Jatiya Party (JaPa) Co-Chairmen ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar and his wife Nasrin Ratna MP over the allegations of grafts.
The ACC will seek explanations of suspicious transactions in various banks and financial institutions worth around Tk200 crore.
The notice was issued by Masudur Rahman, deputy director of the ACC, asking the couple to appear before it on January 10.
The ACC earlier issued a summon notice on November 10 but the JaPa leader did not appear before the commission.
Later, when Ruhul Amin Hawladar applied for two months to make a statement, the commission granted it.
According to the ACC, Ruhul Amin Hawladar and his wife Nasrin Ratna, a Member of Parliament for Barisal 6 constituency, had made suspicious transactions of around Tk200 crore in various accounts with various banks and financial institutions.
After verifying the allegations, the commission started an investigation.
