Private uni girl accuses JU student of rape

A female student of a private university has submitted a complaint of sexual harassment to the Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities against one of their students. The girl submitted the written complaint to the VC office on Thursday. In her complaint, she said she had been in a relationship with Mohidul Islam Biplob of Bangla department since October 10, 2012. Following the development of love affairs, she conceived on January 24, 2016 and had an abortion, she claimed. The girl also complained that Mohidul later forced her to continue physical relations with him and threatened her not to disclose it to others. The accused, however, claimed that the girl was blackmailing him.
