3 arrested for spreading revenge porn video of Rajbari student

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three men on Monday night for uploading and spreading nude videos of one of their girlfriends in Baliakandi upazila in Rajbari. Md Shawon Mandal, 19, Sajib Mandal, 21 and Farukh Ahmed, 22 were arrested for extorting money for the victim and for releasing nude videos of the college girl online. Commander of RAB-8 CPC-2 Faridpur Camp Md Rois Uddin said: "Shawon Mandal duped a girl into thinking he was interested in her and then video taped her and their sexual encounters on a mobile phone. He later threatened to release the videos online unless she paid him, which she did but the video was released anyway. "Victim’s family filed a general diary with Baliakandi police station and sought RAB’s cooperation in this regard," RAB said. RAB-8 also recovered the said video their mobile phones and handed the trio over to Baliakandi police station.
