A six-year-old child has been reportedly raped inside a madrasa in Bhagirathpur area of Madhabdi upazila in Narsingdi.
The incident happened at Darul Ulum Al Hasan Wal Hussain Islamia Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage on Tuesday morning.
Police detained a man named Jahangir, 21, and two minors in connection with the rape, according to Madhabdi police station Inspector Tanvir Ahmed.
Tanvir said police have collected CCTV footage from the area where one of the two detained minors was seen taking the child inside the madrasa.
"The child has been sent to Sadar hospital for medical examination." the police official added "We will disclose the details after investigation."
