Raudha's father, Mohamed Athif, also a doctor, believes his daughter did not commit suicide.
During a press meeting in Rajshahi on Sunday morning, he said there were numerous inconsistencies with the evidence and the autopsy report.
He has questioned the investigation and autopsy results of his daughter's alleged suicide case from the beginning.
Athif said: “In case of a suicide, the victim would pass saliva and urine involuntarily, and the limbs would have been unkempt at the spot of death. Raudha's body was found with her fists tightly closed, which is common in case of strangulation.
“Also, clear finger impressions were found on Raudha's neck, which would not be have been present had Raudha hanged herself. Such marks could not have formed from hanging oneself with a cotton scarf.
“While all signs of suicide by hanging oneself is missing in this case, on the contrary, all of the signs found only point toward a death by strangulation. So, the conclusion that Raudha took her own life by hanging herself is a conspiracy and a lie.”

Athif added: “Since no one saw Raudha hanging and all of the photo evidence show her laid on the bed, it only makes the suspicion even stronger as to whether Raudha hanged herself.”
The deceased Maldivian model's father questioned the role of the hospital authorities and the autopsy reports and accused those in charge of the autopsy of negligence.
Athif said neither an X-ray nor an MRI test had been conducted on his daughter's head or neck during the autopsy.
Athif requested cooperation from the media and said that while the police and Detective Branch had been negligent, the Criminal Investigation Department was looking into the case more thoroughly.
Raudha Athif, a 20-year-old medical student and fashion model from the Maldives, was found dead in her dormitory room at the Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshahi on March 29.
Initially investigators claimed the unnatural death to be a suicide, but this was rejected by both the court and the victim's family. The court has accepted a murder case filed by Raudha's father and tasked the CID with the investigation.
