Police arrest man with single-shot firearm

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police nabbed a person with a single-shot firearm and a bullet on Saturday. The arrestee is Shahin Chowkidar, 28. was arrested from Kotwali in Dhaka. DMP Media Cell’s Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Md Yusuf Ali, said: “A team of DB’s Serious Crimes Investigation Unit conducted a drive around Mitford Hospital area Saturday night and arrested Shahin.” The ADC confirmed a case has been lodged with Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
