Gopalganj stalker arrested for harassing girl

School authorities and locals in Kotalipara of Gopalganj on Thursday caught a youth for harassing a class IX student repeatedly and handed him over to the police. Kotalipara OC Mohammad Qamrul Islam said that they would take action against the offender as per the law. The arrestee, Shamim Sheikh, 20, is the son of Omar Ali of Baganuttorpara village in Kotalipara. He was caught by the authorities with the help of locals in the morning as they had earlier received a complaint from the girl’s family.
