A suspected drug trader has been killed in a reported gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Dhaka’s Mirpur Beribadh area.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
In a SMS sent on Monday, the elite force said the “gunfight” took place late on Sunday night.
Two RAB officials were also injured in the incident, the SMS said.
Two foreign-made pistols and drugs were recovered from the spot.
