Members of the Narcotics Control Department (NCD) have arrested a suspected female drug trader from Raipura area under Labanchara thana of Khulna city.
Surma Begum, 32, wife of Selim Gazi, a resident of the area, was arrested with 7,500 yaba tablets in her possession Sunday night.
Deputy Director of NCD Rasheduzzaman said: “A suspected drug trader Milon Mollick was arrested from Mirzapur area in the evening along with 100 yaba tablets.”
“Following his information, the team raided Surma’s house around 9:30pm and arrested her along with the yaba tablets worth Tk31 lakh,” said Rasheduzzaman.
